Developed Content Management System (CMS) website for event promotions company in Newport Beach, CA. Furthermore the site features a slideshow on the home page where the slide content is pulled from a database using AJAX and PHP. This site also serves a dual purpose with it's two themes (Boxing and MMA) that can be assigned various content and permissions via the Administration Panel.

- NEW FlagstaffBiking.org. I have been working
for a long time on this site. It is going to be a great community based
web site! The site has a dynamic registration process and all the modules
are synchronized per user name. This sophisticated site utilizes 3 great
softwares. Xoops,
osCommerce,
and Invision
Power Board. There are also many other modules integrated. The purpose
of this site is to make it an interactive community where cyclist can
discuss and get together on cycling related issues.

- Racewipes, April 2004. An interesting project I got
to work on because of a referral from crstires.com. The owner of Racewipes
needed to upgrade his web site to be able to handle orders and I made
it happen. There were a few things I took in consideration with
this project. The website had to be in complete control of the owner.
It had to adapt if the owner decided to add more pages. The menu was
designed with this in mind. I also wanted the site to have an unique
look and match the colors of the company's logo.

- CSULB Sport Management, October 2003 - May 2005. As a Graduate Assistant
at California State University one of my responsibilities was to develop and oversee
the official web site of the Sport Management program. The site is completely
designed with server-side includes (SSI)and relies almost entirely on cascading stylesheets (CSS).

- Mountain Christmas of Flagstaff, October 2003. Mountain
Christmas is a store in Flagstaff that sell a broad variety of Christmas
and home decor products. Unique in this
project was the wishlist module and a database driven drop-down
menu I added to the e-commerce site. Because of the dynamic menu the owner has complete control over
their web site.

- California Race Services, August 2003. The California
Race Services (CRS) web site is intended to focus strictly on motorcycle
racing tires, while StickyTires (below) is going to sell tires on a
much broader spectrum. The CRS site has many unique functions to the
motorcycle racing industry. I installed an events calendar that combines
with a custom pick-up at an event shipping module (events extracted
from the database). The site also features individual prices for sponsored
riders and an ability to send contingencies (manufacturer discount and rewards) to successful riders.

- Sticky Tires, February 2003- ???. The site has
been put on the shelf for the moment The owner wants to focus on crstires.com
first.

- Frontline Energy Services, December 2002. A friend
of mine introduced me to the owner of Frontline Energy Services. Within
a few weeks after I agreed to design a web site for his company. Utilizing
his business logo I started developing what became a very difficult
project for me. The round shape of his logo inspired me to try a similar
shape for his web site Throughout the project I stumbled upon difficulties.
For once, I had to design a custom made scrollbar because the default
background color would not fit in. I also was forced to make a second
layout of the site since the 800*600 pixel circle was way too small
for people using the 1024*768 screen resolution. I solved this with
a resolution sniffer at the index page. By using the above address you
will be directed to the proper site for your screen resolution.

- Flagstaff Mountain Film Festival, January 2002. A
Mountain Film Festival event put on by Flagstaff Biking Organization. I started this
project with a few goals in mind: I wanted the site to be designed in
a fluid way so that it would adapt to two screen resolutions. I decided
that the larger resolution viewers (1024*768)would see a little more
of each corner than the smaller resolution viewers (800*600). The smaller
resolution users would not miss any of the important parts of the site,
while the larger resolution users would simply see a little extra. (see
screen views below). The entire site is controlled by cascading stylesheets
and so is the layout. The main "canvas" area will center itself
on the screen automatically.
UPDATE: For 2005-2006 I have developed a more practical Content Management Site for the film festival:
NEW SITE:

OLD SITE CAN BE VIEWED AT:

site/ - Team X, July-Nov 2002. Entrepreneurial work to form a professional mountain
biking team. My goal was to make a web-browser
based proposal that could be submitted online, and on a 8cm CD-ROM.
I chose the web-based format because I wanted to be environmentally-concious
(paperless), and because it was a more cost effective way to reach prospective
sponsors. The proposal had to have an attractive layout and a quick
download time. In addition it had to be easy to read and navigate through.
My sponsorship search online logbook can be found at: http://www.thefinnisher.com/teamx/log.htm
