  14. http://www.racewipes.com/ - Racewipes, April 2004. An interesting project I got to work on because of a referral from crstires.com. The owner of Racewipes needed to upgrade his web site to be able to handle orders and I made it happen. There were a few things I took in consideration with this project. The website had to be in complete control of the owner. It had to adapt if the owner decided to add more pages. The menu was designed with this in mind. I also wanted the site to have an unique look and match the colors of the company's logo.

  19. http://www.frontline-energy.com/ - Frontline Energy Services, December 2002. A friend of mine introduced me to the owner of Frontline Energy Services. Within a few weeks after I agreed to design a web site for his company. Utilizing his business logo I started developing what became a very difficult project for me. The round shape of his logo inspired me to try a similar shape for his web site Throughout the project I stumbled upon difficulties. For once, I had to design a custom made scrollbar because the default background color would not fit in. I also was forced to make a second layout of the site since the 800*600 pixel circle was way too small for people using the 1024*768 screen resolution. I solved this with a resolution sniffer at the index page. By using the above address you will be directed to the proper site for your screen resolution.

  20. http://www.flagstaffmountainfilms.com - Flagstaff Mountain Film Festival, January 2002. A Mountain Film Festival event put on by Flagstaff Biking Organization. I started this project with a few goals in mind: I wanted the site to be designed in a fluid way so that it would adapt to two screen resolutions. I decided that the larger resolution viewers (1024*768)would see a little more of each corner than the smaller resolution viewers (800*600). The smaller resolution users would not miss any of the important parts of the site, while the larger resolution users would simply see a little extra. (see screen views below). The entire site is controlled by cascading stylesheets and so is the layout. The main "canvas" area will center itself on the screen automatically. UPDATE: For 2005-2006 I have developed a more practical Content Management Site for the film festival:

  22. http://www.thefinnisher.com/teamx/web site/ - Team X, July-Nov 2002. Entrepreneurial work to form a professional mountain biking team. My goal was to make a web-browser based proposal that could be submitted online, and on a 8cm CD-ROM. I chose the web-based format because I wanted to be environmentally-concious (paperless), and because it was a more cost effective way to reach prospective sponsors. The proposal had to have an attractive layout and a quick download time. In addition it had to be easy to read and navigate through.

My sponsorship search online logbook can be found at: http://www.thefinnisher.com/teamx/log.htm
